It has been a while — New Website, New Energy
Morgondag has a fresh new site. Checking in.
It has been a while — or a very long time since we published to the internetz.
Just as you have, we have been busy with all sort of things. Life, other jobs, consultancy work, babies, family, friends, bbq, walking at the beach, hiding from snow. But mostly we've been busy working on our projects.
I kept the little Discord alive and posted a few far-and-between screenshots of the updates for Lunar Soil. Other than that we have been quite quiet quietly.
But I felt a bit urged to refresh the content on the site — so here we are.
It's 2026 and that's great
A lot of things have been transpiring since we last posted. came and gone. I saw an influx of interest from the grifter community for Bit Animation Editor. They came and went and now we're back to the old days where pixel art is just great — not a crypto-bro thing.
We went from the information age to the language models and AI scene of today. There's quite a trend of people using AI to generate art, music and of course code and create all sort of things. But gamers — they hate AI generated content right now. I think I get it from a traditional artist perspective. But I like all sort of digital tools.
Luckily I use Blender and a to create the levels of Lunar Soil.
But removed all sort of image generations for the placeholder art in the game - I enjoy making graffiti in Illustrator.
All the things
It's an interesting time to be a game developer, software architect, or engineer.
I'll be using this site more openly going forward — not just for game releases, but for the technical explorations and side projects that keep me busy. There's a lot going on, and I want to share more casually here.
