Spacebase19 - Developer Comment
Spacebase19 came from a period where we experimented with smaller, faster-paced arcade games - trying to bring that mobile game energy to desktop. It was an interesting exploration, though we learned this style isn't really where our strengths lie.
It's a straightforward turret defense shooter: defend the base from asteroid waves, upgrade weapons, survive as long as you can. Simple arcade fun without the atmospheric depth of our other projects.
We made several tiny games like this, but eventually realized our energy is better spent on larger, more ambitious projects. The experiment taught us what kind of work feels worth doing, and for us, that's games with more depth and development time.
