RymdResa - About the Game

RymdResa is a poetic space odyssey, a game about the loneliness of space and one pilot's journey through the void. Unlike traditional space games, there are no enemies to fight, no guns to fire. Instead, you drift through procedurally generated galaxies, scavenging for resources and discovering fragments of a larger story.

The game is divided into three chapters, each representing a different stage of the journey. As you explore, you'll find diary entries, poems, and artifacts that slowly reveal the story of humanity's last astronaut and their search for a new home.

With its haunting ambient soundtrack and minimalist pixel art aesthetic, RymdResa creates a meditative experience that stands apart from traditional gaming. It's a game about accepting loss, finding hope in the darkness, and the beauty of the unknown.

RymdResa - Developer Comment

RymdResa was our debut game and very personal to us. It's a poetic space exploration roguelike about loneliness, loss, and the search for meaning in an infinite void.

We wanted to create something slow-paced and meditative - no combat, no enemies, just you drifting through procedurally generated space, making difficult choices about resources while uncovering fragments of story through poetry and environmental storytelling.

It's deliberately slow and contemplative - but for those who connect with it, it seems to resonate deeply.
