Walking is fun! But gliding around in space on a machine is even better.
Here is the early iteration of the system:

Design inspiration comes from small snowmobiles.
It still lacks texturing work, but we have particles, an acceleration-based animation system for the side details and connected lights with emissive material relative to the velocity of the machine.
Lots of machines
We envision a lot of different transportation vehicles in the game with their own perks, like extra air-tank, cargo-space or seats for more players.
We have a working multiplayer scene where players can ride the rover.
