# Careers & Collaborations — Morgondag

We're a small Swedish indie studio with big ambitions. While we're not hiring full-time right now, we're always looking for talented freelancers to collaborate on exciting projects.

## Disciplines We Work With

- **Developers** — Gameplay programmers, tools engineers, and technical artists with Unity or custom engine experience.
- **Writers & Narrative** — Writers and narrative designers who weave compelling stories into interactive experiences.
- **Marketing & PR** — Marketers, PR specialists, and community managers who know how to reach players.
- **Social Media** — Content creators and social strategists who build audiences and spark conversations.
- **Traditional Artists** — Painters, illustrators, and fine artists bringing analog techniques to digital projects.
- **Philosophers & Theorists** — Thinkers who explore meaning, ethics, and ideas that give projects depth.
- **3D Scanning & Photogrammetry** — Specialists who capture real-world objects and environments for use in games.
- **Video & Motion** — Filmmakers, editors, and motion graphics artists for trailers and cinematics.
- **Voice & Performance** — Voice actors, mocap performers, and directors who bring characters to life.
- **Localization** — Translators and cultural consultants who help our games reach a global audience.

## A Note on Internships

We receive many internship requests each month. As a small studio, we can't offer traditional internships with structured mentorship — we simply don't have the capacity.

That said, we're open to smaller, self-directed projects. If you can identify something that would help us and plan the scope yourself, we're happy to review your proposal. This approach works best for self-starters who can work independently.

**What we're looking for in a proposal:**

- A clear project idea that benefits both you and the studio
- Realistic scope and timeline you've thought through
- What you hope to learn or achieve from the experience
- Examples of past work showing you can execute independently

## How We Work

1. **Remote-First** — Work from anywhere. We collaborate across time zones and value async communication.
2. **Creative Freedom** — We trust our collaborators to bring their unique perspective and push creative boundaries.
3. **Fair Compensation** — We pay competitive rates and believe in transparent, honest business practices.
4. **Meaningful Work** — We make games that matter. Every contribution helps create something we're all proud of.

## Currently Looking For (Lunar Soil)

- **Writers & Narrative** — Writers and narrative designers who weave compelling stories into interactive experiences.
- **Audio & Music** — Composers, sound designers, and audio engineers who craft immersive soundscapes.

## What to Include in Your Application

- **Portfolio or work samples** — A link to your portfolio, ArtStation, Behance, GitHub, or any platform showcasing your work. Quality over quantity — show us what you're most proud of.
- **Brief introduction** — Tell us about yourself, your background, and what kind of projects interest you. No need for a formal cover letter — we prefer authentic conversations.
- **Availability & rates** — Let us know your general availability and rate expectations. We're flexible and happy to discuss project-based or hourly arrangements.

## Get in Touch

Even if you don't see a perfect fit right now, we'd love to hear from you. Great collaborations often start with a simple hello.
